Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Use apply to your use of The Puzzle Room, a free iOS and Android app developed by 306 Holdings. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The Service

The Puzzle Room provides daily Crosswords, Sudoku boards, a six-try Daily Word, themed Word Searches, puzzle archives, timers, personal bests, streaks, challenges, earnable rewards, and optional reminders. New puzzle days are intended to become available at midnight Eastern Time.

Eligibility and Younger Players

The Puzzle Room is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, use the app only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising a minor's use of the app.

Free, Ad-Free Release

The current release is free and does not include advertising, subscriptions, in-app purchases, contests, or prizes. 306 Holdings may change, add, or discontinue features or business models in a future release. Any paid offering would be described before purchase and would be subject to the applicable app store's purchase terms.

No Account and Local Progress

No 306 Holdings account is required. Puzzle progress, times, streaks, rewards, preferences, and cached content are stored locally and are not synchronized across devices. Clearing app storage, deleting the app, changing devices, or changing backup settings may remove or alter local progress. 306 Holdings is not responsible for restoring local gameplay data.

Optional Notifications

You may choose to receive puzzle reminders. Notification delivery depends on your device settings, network connection, platform notification services, and the availability of The Puzzle Room service. Reminders are not guaranteed to arrive at a particular time. You can disable them in the app or in device settings.

License and Intellectual Property

Subject to these terms, 306 Holdings grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use The Puzzle Room for lawful, noncommercial entertainment. The app, puzzle collections, clues, boards, graphics, branding, software, and related materials are owned by or licensed to 306 Holdings and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Copy, republish, sell, or commercially exploit puzzle content without permission.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except where applicable law permits it.
• Interfere with the app, puzzle service, security controls, or another person's use.
• Use automated tools to overload, scrape, probe, or access the service in an unauthorized way.
• Use the app or its content for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or infringing activity.

Puzzle Content and Results

The app is provided for entertainment. We work to provide complete and accurate puzzles, clues, solutions, timers, challenge results, and rewards, but mistakes or technical issues may occur. Scores, streaks, completion records, and personal bests are informal app features and have no cash value.

Availability and Changes

Puzzle delivery, archives, reminders, and other features may be delayed, changed, interrupted, or discontinued. 306 Holdings may update the app, correct content, change release schedules, remove puzzles, or modify features to maintain or improve the service. We do not promise that every feature or puzzle date will always remain available.

App Store and Third-Party Services

Your download and use may also be governed by the Apple App Store or Google Play terms. The app relies on third-party infrastructure and notification providers, which may have their own terms, privacy practices, and availability limitations.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Puzzle Room is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. 306 Holdings does not warrant uninterrupted access, error-free puzzle content, preservation of local progress, or compatibility with every device or operating-system version. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 306 Holdings will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost progress, data, opportunities, or profits arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. 306 Holdings may suspend or discontinue access to the service when reasonably necessary to protect the app, enforce these terms, comply with law, or end the service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the app or applicable requirements change. Revised terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the app after updated terms become effective indicates acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
