The Puzzle Room

Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 16, 2026

Overview

The Puzzle Room is developed by 306 Holdings. This policy explains how the app handles information when you load daily puzzles, save progress, complete challenges, use rewards, revisit the archive, or choose to receive puzzle reminders.

No Account Required

The Puzzle Room does not require a 306 Holdings account and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, profile, contacts, precise location, photos, camera, microphone, health data, calendar, or Bluetooth access. The app does not provide cross-device account syncing.

Information Stored on Your Device

The app stores gameplay information and preferences locally on your device, including:

Puzzle entries and guesses are not transmitted to 306 Holdings. Local storage is subject to your device platform's storage and backup settings.

Daily Puzzle Delivery and Service Logs

The app connects to The Puzzle Room service to request today's game set and earlier published puzzle dates. Cloudflare provides the public app service, and Supabase provides private database infrastructure used for puzzle content delivery.

When the app contacts the service, Cloudflare, Supabase, and related infrastructure may process standard connection and security information such as IP address, request date and time, user agent, and device or network information. This information is used to deliver and protect the service, diagnose problems, and maintain operations—not to build advertising profiles.

Optional Notifications

Notifications are optional. If you enable reminders, The Puzzle Room schedules a daily puzzle reminder and a seven-day comeback reminder locally on your device. Opening the app resets the comeback reminder so active players do not receive it.

The initial release does not request or transmit an Expo push token, installation identifier, device platform, time zone, reminder time, or notification registration to 306 Holdings. Reminder delivery does not use Expo Push Service, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Apple Push Notification service, or a 306 Holdings notification server.

You can disable reminders in the app or manage notification permission in your device settings. Local reminder settings remain on the device until they are disabled, app storage is cleared, or the app is deleted, subject to operating-system backup behavior.

Analytics, Advertising, Payments, and Tracking

The Puzzle Room does not include third-party advertising, advertising attribution, client analytics, crash-reporting, payment, or cross-app tracking SDKs in the inspected release. The app is free and does not offer subscriptions or in-app purchases. Cloudflare service observability may sample server requests for operational monitoring.

How Information Is Shared

306 Holdings does not sell personal information or puzzle progress and does not share information for targeted advertising. Local reminder information and push tokens are not collected or shared. Standard service information may be processed by infrastructure providers only as needed to deliver puzzle content, protect the service, diagnose problems, or comply with law.

Children's Privacy

The Puzzle Room is a general-audience puzzle app and is not directed to children under 13. The app does not ask users to provide an age and does not require an account. A child may use the app with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Retention and Deletion

Local puzzle progress, rewards, preferences, and cached content remain on your device until app storage is cleared or the app is deleted. Depending on your operating-system backup settings, device backups may preserve or restore some local app data.

Notification preferences and schedules are stored locally and can be removed by disabling reminders, clearing app storage, or deleting the app. The Puzzle Room does not create user accounts, so there is no account-deletion process. For privacy questions, contact support@306holdings.com.

Security

The production puzzle feed is expected to use HTTPS. The app does not contain database credentials, and the puzzle database uses a private schema with public access restricted. Local gameplay is stored using platform app storage without a separate application-level encryption layer. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app, its providers, or legal requirements change. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate in-app or website notice when practical.
