Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Use apply to your use of Plant at Ease, a houseplant identification, care-planning, and reminder app developed by 306 Holdings. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The App

Plant at Ease helps you add houseplants by photo or name, review visual identification suggestions, create a care profile, complete soil checks, view care history, receive optional local reminders, use optional weather context, read beginner guides, and manage plant data. Features may differ by device, platform, region, service availability, and app version.

Eligibility

Plant at Ease is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, use the app only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.

No Named Account and Limited Recovery

Plant at Ease does not currently provide email, social, or password sign-in. When cloud features are configured, plant records may synchronize under a random anonymous guest ID tied to the installation. This is not a recoverable cross-device account. Clearing app storage, deleting the app, changing devices, or changing backup settings may remove local information or make the guest profile inaccessible. 306 Holdings is not responsible for restoring inaccessible guest data.

Plant Identification

Photo identification and catalog search provide suggestions for convenience. Plant appearance can vary because of age, cultivar, lighting, season, health, and growing conditions. Suggestions, confidence labels, common names, scientific names, and reference photos may be incomplete, incorrect, or unavailable.

You are responsible for reviewing and confirming a plant before relying on its care profile. Do not use Plant at Ease as the only source for decisions involving toxic plants, human or animal exposure, ingestion, allergies, medical treatment, legal restrictions, or valuable specimens.

Care Guidance

Care profiles, timing windows, soil-check prompts, weather adjustments, reminders, guides, and explanations are general informational tools. They are not a guarantee of plant health and do not replace direct observation, product instructions, authoritative horticultural references, or professional advice.

Plant needs vary with species, cultivar, plant size, pot material, soil, drainage, root health, pests, light, temperature, humidity, water quality, season, and many other conditions. You are responsible for evaluating the plant and deciding whether to water, repot, fertilize, treat, move, prune, or take another action.

Location, Weather, Notifications, and Timing

Region suggestions, season labels, weather signals, care dates, and notifications may be delayed, inaccurate, unavailable, or unsuitable for a particular plant. Weather is an optional context signal and is not an automatic watering instruction. Notifications depend on device permissions, operating-system behavior, battery settings, and accurate plant information and are not guaranteed to arrive at a particular time.

Free Use and Plant at Ease Plus

The free app is designed to support up to three saved plants. Plant at Ease Plus is designed as a one-time, non-consumable purchase that removes that saved-plant limit. The displayed price, taxes, currency, availability, purchase processing, family sharing, refunds, and restoration are controlled by the applicable app store and may vary by region.

Plus does not guarantee permanent availability of every feature or service. Photo identification, weather, cloud synchronization, third-party providers, and platform support may still have limits, outages, or future changes. Plus is not a subscription and does not include a recurring charge in the current product model.

Your Content

You are responsible for plant photos, nicknames, room names, notes, exported files, and other content you add or share through Plant at Ease. You represent that you have the right to use that content. Avoid adding unlawful content or sensitive information you do not want stored on the device or included in an export.

Third-Party Services

Plant at Ease may rely on Firebase, Cloudflare, Pl@ntNet, Open-Meteo, RevenueCat, Apple, Google, and related platform services. Those providers may have their own terms, privacy practices, usage limits, and availability rules. 306 Holdings does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their independent acts, omissions, content, or outages.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Plant at Ease or its services for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or infringing activity.
• Upload content you do not have the right to use or content intended to harm, probe, or disrupt a service.
• Bypass photo-identification limits, authentication, purchase checks, or other access controls.
• Use automated tools to overload, scrape, test, or access the app or its services without permission.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except where applicable law permits it.
• Copy, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the app, catalog, guides, branding, or interface without permission.

License and Intellectual Property

Subject to these terms and applicable app-store rules, 306 Holdings grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Plant at Ease for lawful personal purposes. The app, software, interface, branding, original guides, catalog compilation, and related materials are owned by or licensed to 306 Holdings and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party reference images and data remain subject to their stated licenses and source terms.

Availability and Changes

306 Holdings may update, add, remove, limit, or discontinue features, plant profiles, guides, providers, platform support, prices, or the app itself. We do not promise that every feature, species, service, or stored record will always remain available.

Privacy

Review the Privacy Policy to understand how Plant at Ease handles local plant records, photos, anonymous guest sync, identification, approximate weather location, reminders, purchases, exports, and deletion.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Plant at Ease is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. 306 Holdings does not warrant uninterrupted operation, correct plant identification, accurate care guidance, successful reminders, weather availability, preservation or synchronization of data, purchase availability, or compatibility with every plant, device, or operating-system version. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 306 Holdings will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for plant loss or damage, lost data, missed care, incorrect identification, unsuccessful purchases, service outages, opportunities, or profits arising from your use of or inability to use Plant at Ease. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Termination

You may stop using Plant at Ease at any time by deleting it. 306 Holdings may suspend or discontinue access when reasonably necessary to protect the app or providers, enforce these terms, comply with law, address security or abuse, or end the service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as Plant at Ease or applicable requirements change. Revised terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the app after updated terms become effective indicates acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
