Plant at Ease
Get help with identifying a plant, creating or updating a care plan, completing soil checks, reminders, weather-aware care, guest sync, data controls, or Plant at Ease Plus.
Email support@306holdings.com with “Plant at Ease” in the subject and a short description of the issue.
Helpful details include your device model, iOS or Android version, Plant at Ease version, what you expected to happen, and the steps that led to the problem. Do not attach a plant photo unless it is necessary to explain the issue, and do not include passwords, payment details, or sensitive personal information.
Use a clear whole-plant photo, compare the suggestions, and confirm the plant before a care plan is created.
Report whether the soil is dry, damp, wet, or uncertain so the app can schedule a more useful next check.
Open Settings, then Data & privacy, to review storage, export plant data, or delete local and guest cloud data.
Confirm that the device is online and that the camera or photo-picker action completed. Try a sharp JPEG with the plant centered, even light, minimal background clutter, and as much of the whole plant visible as possible. Very large or unreadable photos may be rejected.
Identification is a visual suggestion service and may return no useful match. It also has daily per-user and service limits. You can always choose “Search by name instead” and continue with the bundled catalog.
Do not confirm a suggestion that does not fit your plant. Compare leaf shape, growth pattern, stem, color, and available reference photos, then choose another result or search manually. You can correct a saved plant's species later from its detail screen.
Open the plant detail and review its light, drainage, placement, room, and species. Also confirm the region, season pattern, and typical indoor climate in Settings. Complete a soil check with the condition you actually observe; dry, damp, wet, and uncertain reports can move the next check.
Plant at Ease offers general care guidance, not a guarantee of plant health. Unusual symptoms, pests, toxicity concerns, or serious decline may require a reliable horticultural source or local professional.
Open Settings and confirm Care reminders are on, then check notification permission in device settings. Plant at Ease schedules reminders locally. Delivery can be affected by Focus or Do Not Disturb modes, battery settings, operating-system behavior, or a reminder time that has already passed.
The Today screen continues to show care tasks even when notifications are off. Quiet care combines same-day tasks into one 9:00 AM reminder.
Local weather is optional. Open Settings, edit the care location, and choose Use approximate location. Plant at Ease requests foreground location at low accuracy, rounds the coordinates on the device, and does not track location continuously.
If permission is denied or weather cannot load, the regular care plan still uses plant type, placement, light, drainage, season, indoor climate, and your soil observations.
When Firebase is configured, plant profiles and care history synchronize under a random anonymous guest ID tied to the installation. There is no email sign-in or recoverable account yet. Deleting the app, clearing app storage, or changing devices can make that guest profile inaccessible even if remote records still exist.
Plant photos and care location are not included in the Firebase guest profile. Export important plant records before reinstalling or changing devices.
The free app supports up to three saved plants. Plant at Ease Plus removes that limit with a one-time lifetime purchase and no recurring subscription. The store processes the payment, and RevenueCat confirms whether the Plus entitlement is active.
If Plus is missing after a reinstall, open the Plus screen and choose Restore purchase while using the same app-store account that made the purchase. Store products may not be available until the public listing is active in your region.
Open Settings, choose Data & privacy, and select Export my plant data to create a portable copy. To remove information, choose Delete all data and guest profile. The deletion flow removes local plants, local photos, care history, preferences, and the private guest cloud profile when it exists.
Deleting app data does not erase a store purchase. Purchase history and refunds are controlled by the applicable app store.
Plant at Ease is developed and supported by 306 Holdings. It is preparing for public release on iPhone and Android. Public app-store links will be added when the listings are ready.
