Helpful details include your device model, iOS or Android version, ReturnRadar version, what you expected to happen, and the steps that led to the problem. Do not attach an unredacted receipt or include payment-card details, addresses, loyalty identifiers, or other sensitive information.
Use the camera, photo picker, manual entry, or share sheet, then review every extracted field before saving.
Retailer suggestions are starting points. Confirm the actual return date with the retailer and enter an exact deadline when possible.
Purchases, receipt attachments, reminders, and settings are stored on the device without an account or cloud sync.
OCR works best with a sharp image, readable print, good contrast, and the full receipt visible. Wrinkles, glare, cropped text, faded thermal paper, unusual layouts, or handwritten details can reduce accuracy. You can edit every suggested field or add the purchase manually.
ReturnRadar may detect a retailer and suggest a likely policy, but it cannot guarantee that the retailer, item, purchase channel, promotion, or membership uses that window. Verify the deadline on the receipt, retailer website, or with the retailer.
Confirm that you selected ReturnRadar from the source app's share sheet and wait for the share action to complete before opening the app. Try sharing one item at a time. On Android, PDF receipts are imported through the share sheet. Support for multiple items in one share action may vary by platform and release.
Open Settings in ReturnRadar and confirm notifications are allowed, then check the purchase's reminder timing and return deadline. Local notification delivery depends on operating-system settings, Focus or Do Not Disturb modes, battery behavior, and whether the reminder time has already passed.
ReturnRadar uses local notifications rather than a remote push service. If you edit a deadline, review the reminder afterward so it reflects the date you intend.
Open ReturnRadar after editing or deleting a purchase to refresh the shared widget summary. Operating systems decide when a Home Screen widget redraws, so an update may not appear immediately. Removing and re-adding the widget can also request a fresh view.
Use search or the status filters on the dashboard, open the purchase detail, and choose Edit, Returned, Keeping, Watch Again, or Delete. Deleting a purchase removes its associated local reminder and receipt attachment where the platform supports that association.
ReturnRadar does not create an account. Use Settings to delete purchases, attachments, pending imports, and reminders, or reset preferences separately. You can also uninstall the app to remove its local container, subject to your device's backup and restore behavior.
