Email [email protected] with “Family Album” in the subject and a short description of the issue.
Helpful details include your device model, iOS or Android version or web browser, Family Album version, what you expected to happen, and the steps that led to the problem. Do not email private family photos, videos, sign-in links, invitation links, or other sensitive information.
Use the newest time-limited email link, open it on the device you want to use, and request another if it expired.
Open the current invitation link in the app or web experience. An owner can revoke or replace an invitation.
Update your profile, leave a family, change notification preferences, or permanently delete your account.
Ask the family-space owner to confirm that the invitation is still active and was sent to the email address you use for Family Album. Invitations can expire or be revoked. If the app is not installed, the secure link can continue in the web experience.
Keep Family Album connected to the internet while an upload begins and check that the app still has permission to access the selected media. Photo uploads support common formats and are limited to 25 MB in the current release; current video uploads are limited to 100 MB and may depend on platform compatibility. Web users can upload photos and view protected videos, but current web video upload is not supported.
If an upload remains failed, remove that item from the composer and select it again. Canceling a draft stops active transfers and removes staged upload data where the service can complete that cleanup.
Check the email and push preferences for the affected family space, then review notification permission in device settings. Push notifications require an active internet connection and can be affected by Focus modes, battery settings, provider delays, or operating-system behavior.
Family-space owners can invite relatives, revoke pending invitations, remove members, and change access between view-only, contributor, and owner roles. Members can leave a family space from its settings. Removing a person prevents future access but cannot remove copies or screenshots they made while authorized.
Delete a post from its available controls. Deleted posts can remain recoverable for up to 30 days before permanent deletion. Recovery is not a backup service, so keep separate copies of important photos and videos.
In Family Album, open You → Your account to update your display name or profile photo and permanently delete your account. You can also securely access web account management. Account deletion is permanent after the deletion process is completed.
